DIY: Wall Sign

I was extremely bored last week. So I decided to ‘create’ something. I remembered still having a cork board I bought at the Chinese store (it’s cheap, that’s why I bought it), so I decided to make a wall sign.

·      Cork board
·      Pencil
·      Acrylic paint
·      Varnish
·      Ribbon
·      Thumbtacks
·      Creativity

·      Paint the entire surface of the cork board with white acrylic paint. Let it dry (I use hairdryer to make it dry faster) and re-paint the surface. If necessary, paint it 3 to 4 times until the whole surface is completely covered.
·      Draw your preferred design using a pencil.
·      Fun begins! Start painting your design.
·      Let it dry for couple of minutes (or use hairdryer). When it’s dry already, cover your design with varnish.
·      Put a ribbon at the back of the cork board. Use thumbtacks.
·      Voila! Your hand-painted wall sign is now ready to hang.
