The Gratitude Challenge: Day 11

It’s Day 11 on The Gratitude Challenge! On this day, I have to:

Try to see the world through the eyes of a child. Think about the things you take for granted on a daily basis, and then express gratitude for everything down to the basic necessities that sustain your current life.

Seeing the world through the eyes of a child, ah? Well, Antonio always says that I am childish. So, I think it won’t be difficult to see the world through the eyes of a child - if you know what I mean.

Anyway, it is true that I have taken things for granted in my life. For example, the air I breathe, my health, my eyes, the house I live in… and such and such. The air makes me live and I am rarely thankful for it. The same thing goes for my health. I normally remember to be grateful for my health only when I am sick. I definitely need to start remembering things I take for granted and be grateful for them.

So let’s start!

I am grateful for the air I breathe because it makes me live. I am grateful for my health because with it I can do everything perfectly. I am grateful for the home I live in at the moment because, hey, at least I have a home to sleep at night, a shelter to protect me from hot and cold, and a place to go every time I need a place to comfort myself.

I am grateful for every little thing around me. I am grateful for everything.
