New Job. New House

When you are rejected from something good, God is actually leading you to something better.

I would like to spare a moment to thank God for what He has given to me; my dream job.

You might have read my previous post Job Rejection dated August 19. As the title says, I was rejected from a job I thought was mine. I was sad, of course, because I believed it would be the job perfect for me. But then I managed to stay grateful for it. I sent the employer my gratitude for having me interviewed, and I thanked God for showing me which job wasn't the one for me and asked Him to guide me to my dream job.

Early this morning I received good news from my future employer. I had an interview with her this afternoon and the moment I walked in the school, sat on that "hot" seat, and listened to the Coordinator spoke about the school and the position I applied for, I knew it was meant for me. It's my dream job.

What can I say about this job? A lot! It's indeed an international school. The Coordinator explained me about the benefits I will be receiving once I start to work for the school, and I love every detail she mentioned. Not only that it is possible for me to be funded for my Master degree - in case I apply for one - but also it has a lot more possibilities to get higher positions.

Have I mentioned that I will be having my own desk? Awesome! I can't wait to decorate and organize my desk. There will be free Internet access at work, a photocopy machine, a scanner... Wow!

I met some of my future colleagues when I had the interview and I couldn't be more grateful and happier that they welcomed me. They showed me around and let me ask any questions about the school. I can't wait to work with them because they are all amazingly friendly and helpful.

The greatest thing about being accepted in this job is the moving out. Yes, Antonio and I are moving into our new house. We have looked for some apartments, though we haven't decided which one we choose. I hope there's a patio for Fluffy and Blacky. They'll be happy there.

The school name is Colegio Internacional Torrequebrada. It's located in Torrequebrada, Benalmadena, Malaga. It's just a few minutes away from the beach. Antonio said that the weather will be great. Also, it has cercanias - public train - that can take us to other nearest cities. And the great news is that it is near to Torremolino, where there are some Asian markets to buy Indonesian cooking ingredients! Yaaaay!!

Thank you, God. Life is so great and beautiful. I am terribly happy and thankful for what we receive. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
